Tom Walker scores #1 album with ‘What a Time to Be Alive’
Tom Walker has today secured a #1 album with his debut, What a Time to Be Alive released by Relentless Records. Tom fought off competition from the likes of Bryan Adams, Ariana Grande and The Greatest Showman to hit the top spot.
His latest track ‘You and I’ also hit #8 in the singles chart. The #1 follows an already incredible year for Tom after picking up the public-voted BRIT Award for British Breakthrough Act. Previous single ‘Leave a Light On’ hit #1 on iTunes in 20 countries (reaching platinum in 10) and went straight into the Official Top 40 songs of 2018 in the UK.
Tom said, “to everybody who has bought, supported and just been absolutely lovely about this record, who have come to the shows and been there since day one, here we are. Thank you so, so much. Thank you for the support. This is next level!”
