Bring Me The Horizon top the UK albums chart with ‘POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR’
Bring Me The Horizon have reached No.1 in the UK albums chart with their POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR EP.
Released on digital and streaming platforms last October, the EP climbed to the top spot this week following its recent physical release. It marks the band’s second chart-topping album, exactly two years after 2019’s amo debuted at No.1.
“We really weren’t expecting to get a No.1 after having a record out for three months, so we’re super stoked for this to happen especially after getting the Top 5 last year. We’d like to thank all the fans for the support for getting us to this point. So much is going on with the band right now it feels like a really exciting time for us, and this is a great way to start our year.”
Bring Me The Horizon released their sixth studio album, amo, in 2019, which debuted at No.1 in 17 markets. The LP garnered the band their second Grammy nomination for ‘Best Rock Album’ after its first single, ‘MANTRA’, earned them a nod for Best Rock Song in 2018. They also received their first BRIT Award nomination for ‘Best Group’ last year. The band have sold more than four million albums to date and played sold-out shows in over 40 countries.
