Key4Life is a crime prevention charity that works with young men in prison, those at risk of going to prison and those caught up in knife crime. Key4Life’s mission is to break the cycle of young men aged 18-30 who have the highest reoffending rates and lowest chances of securing employment.
The charity also aims to reduce stigma for young offenders, and its YOUNITED Flag campaign encourages companies to employ ex-offenders and give them another chance.
Impact at a glance
Sony Music UK’s Social Justice Fund backed Key4Life’s At Risk rehabilitation programme, which supports young ex-offenders to build resilience, unlock negative behaviours and fast track their employment, through a powerful blend of music, equine therapy, and mentorship.
Volunteers from across Sony Music UK continue to donate their time helping to develop interview skills of programme participants both in prison and in the community.
