BRITs Week shows announced

Ivor Novello-winning songwriter Tom Odell, festival headliners Bring Me The Horizon and critically acclaimed BRIT nominee Jake Bugg have been announced to play intimate shows for BRITs Week with War Child, together with O2.

War Child BRITs Week returns for its fifth year and strongest series of gigs yet, giving fans the opportunity to see the biggest names in music in intimate venues across London – all whilst raising money for children whose lives have been torn apart by war. War Child UK raised an estimated £650,000 through BRITs Week shows last year, a significant increase year on year by the organisation.

Geoff Taylor, Chief Executive BPI & BRIT Awards, said, “it’s always great to welcome back BRITs Week, which has now become such an integral part of the build up to The BRIT Awards with Mastercard each year, and which also raises much needed funds for the vital work of War Child. Working with our valued partners AEG, O2, and War Child – we continually strive to develop the event as a celebration of diverse British music, showcasing the next wave of exciting new talent and celebrating another phenomenal year for British music”

Tickets are available via a prize draw, which is open now and closes at 23:59pm, Monday 4th February.

To enter the prize draw to win tickets to see the artist of their choice, music fans can make a £5 donation to War Child at www.britsweekwarchild.co.uk.

To maximise the chance of winning, fans can enter as many times as they like. There will also be a limited number of tickets for sale from Friday 18th January.

A limited number of tickets for some of the shows will be available to buy exclusively for O2 customers via Priority Tickets from 9am Wednesday 16th January.

The BRIT Awards 2019 with Mastercard take place on Wednesday 20th February at The O2 Arena, London. The show will be broadcast on ITV and YouTube for those watching outside of the UK.
