Jeff Lynne’s ELO to release ‘Wembley or Bust’ live album and concert film

Following multiple sold-out arena tours and an induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Jeff Lynne’s ELO have announced a live album and film of their legendary concert at Wembley Stadium on June 24th. Directed by Paul Dugdale and titled Wembley or Bust, it will be released on CD, vinyl and DVD on November 17th.

Wembley or Bust sees Lynne and his ensemble fill the stadium with one of the greatest rock and roll spectacles of all time, complete with bells, whistles and spaceships. Commenting on the performance, Lynne said, “it’s the best time I ever had in music… it is beyond anything I could have imagined.”

The show features songs spanning the breadth of Lynne’s career, from vintage ELO classics ‘Mr. Blue Sky’, ‘Livin’ Thing’ and ‘Evil Woman’ to ‘Do Ya’ from his days with The Move, ‘Handle with Care’ which he recorded with The Traveling Wilburys, and ‘When I Was a Boy’ from his latest ELO masterpiece, Alone In the Universe.

ELO have had more than twenty Top 40 hits across the US and the UK, selling over 50 million records worldwide and making Lynne’s sweeping productions some of the most recognisable music of the last forty years.

One of the world’s greatest record producers, Lynne was a co-founder and member of The Travelling Wilburys together with Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison, George Harrison and Tom Petty as well as a producer and collaborator with some of the biggest names in music including The Beatles, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Joe Walsh, and most recently, Bryan Adams.
