Rag’n’Bone Man’s ‘Human’ is biggest-selling No.1 male debut of the decade
Rag’n’Bone Man has stormed straight to the top of the charts with the album Human, out now on Best Laid Plans/Columbia Records.
The 2017 BRITs Critics’ Choice Award winner sold an incredible 117K albums in the first week of release. This makes Human the biggest selling No.1 male debut album of this decade, outselling artists including Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith. It also resulted in Human being immediately certified gold.

Rag’n’Bone Man’s hit single Human has earned the bluesman platinum status in eight countries, including here in the UK, and gold in five.
Having sold out his biggest headline tour to date in record time, Rag’n’Bone Man also looks forward to headlining a hometown show at Brighton’s Great Escape Festival alongside performances at Wildlife, Parklife, Live At Leeds, Isle Of Wight, TRNSMT, Bestival, plus many more to be announced.
Rag’n’Bone Man is nominated for a second BRIT for Best British Breakthrough this year. If he wins, he will become the only artist to ever win both Best British Breakthrough and BRITs Critics’ Choice.
The BRIT Awards 2017 take place at the O2, London on February 22 and will be broadcast live on ITV.
