Rag’n’Bone Man wins the BRITs Critics’ Choice Award 2017
Rory Graham (aka Rag’n’Bone Man) has been named as the winner of the BRITs Critics’ Choice Award 2017.
Speaking about his award win, Rory said, “I thought they had made a mistake. I was up against two pop giants. It’s bloody brilliant! I’m crazy happy. Proper massive grin.”
The prestigious award will be presented to Rory on January 14 at the BRITs nomination launch where he will also be performing.
Rag’n’Bone Man is set to release his debut album, Human, on February 10 on Columbia Records/Best Laid Plans, and will embark on his biggest headline tour to date in April.
As well as winning his first BRIT Award, 2016 has also seen Rag’n’Bone Man longlisted on the BBC Sound Of Poll, feature as part of Apple Music’s New Artist For 2017 and top the Google Play Music One’s To Watch list. His single, Human, is now certified Platinum in three countries and Gold in four, has been streamed 55 million times and hit the Number 1 spot on iTunes in 25 countries.
