Sony Music UK supporting Shooting Star Chase for Giving Tuesday
For Giving Tuesday, Sony Music Entertainment UK is showing support for Shooting Stars Chase – the chosen charity for 2015.
Shooting Star Chase is a leading children’s hospice charity, caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families. Whether lives are measured in days, weeks, months or years, they are there to make every moment count.
It costs £10 million a year to maintain their current level of care and around 10% of that income comes from government funding, so they rely on their supporters’ generosity to keep the service running.
Sony staff have been involved in numerous fundraising events including, rowing 22 miles down the Thames for the Great River Race, climbing the Great Wall of China and cycling from London to Paris.
