One Direction and Pharrell to headline the new Apple Music Festival
One Direction and Pharrell Williams have been announced to headline the new Apple Music Festival. The Apple Music Festival will take over London’s Roundhouse this September 19th to 28th. UK residents can apply to win tickets to the concerts, but even those not physically there will still be able to enjoy the shows as performances will be broadcast around the world, for free. Coverage will be streamed on Beats 1 along with backstage news and footage from the artists on Apple Music Connect. The festival can be experienced via iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, PC or in HD on Apple TV.
“It’ll be great to be back in London and we can’t wait to perform for our fans in the Roundhouse,” says Niall Horan of One Direction. There are more acts yet to be announced.
