Calvin Harris Smashes Most Top Ten Singles Record
Calvin Harris has cemented his position as a global superstar by smashing a record previously held by the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. Harris’ third studio album, ‘18 Months’ has provided the DJ, producer and songwriter with eight top ten singles.
‘18 Months’ was released on Columbia Records on 26 October 2012 and features the singles ‘Bounce’, ‘Feel So Close’, ‘Let’s Go’, ‘We’ll Be Coming Back’, ‘Sweet Nothing’, ‘Drinking from the Bottle’, ‘I Need Your Love’ and ‘Thinking About You’.
Calvin has been a prolific collaborator over the past few years. As well as the artists featured on ‘18 Months’ – Kelis, Ne-Yo, Example, Florence Welch, Ellie Goulding, Ayah Marar – he has written and produced tracks for many other recording artists including Kylie Minogue, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Dizzee Rascal, Cheryl Cole, Example and Rihanna (on the international chart-buster ‘We Found Love’).
